Samantha joined our team in November 2008, bringing a diverse background ranging from hardware purchasing, helpdesk support, marketing promotions and employment staffing. Her responsibilities have grown from an administrative role in our organization to someone who wears many hats. Samantha currently handles sales, customer service, purchasing, logistics, import/export, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Alex has more than 25 years’ experience in the animal and human nutrition industries. He began his career with Shur Gain Feeds while working on a large broiler farm. In 2012 he cofounded Turn Left Nutrition LLC and serves as managing director. TLN assists companies seeking supply chain management expertise in the dietary supplement, pharmaceutical, food and branded retail products industries. Alex has extensive experience in sales and sales management, business development, general management, supply chain and project management. Throughout his career he has worked with many organizations such as Hoffman-La Roche, Pestell Agri, Chorney Chemical, Eisai USA Inc., Thomas Products Inc., Nutriva Global, Takeda USA, Tama Bio Chemical, Sojitz Corporation of America, AC Grace Co. Inc., The RAE Group, ShenZhou Biology & Technology, Matrix Fine Sciences, Asahei Kasei, The Boston Group, Cargill, Tasa Omega LLC and Phytochem Inc. Japan. Alex is an active member of IFT, AOAC, Institute of Supply Management, CRN and NPA.
Arnold has devoted the last 35 years to research, quality control, and product development in the food and pharmaceutical industries, including 16 years as research director at Alpharma. He joined the Fermenta USA team as a consultant in 2007. Arnold is a recognized expert on Vitamin D and authored the vitamin D section of the Kirk-Othmer encyclopedia. He holds a BS in chemistry from the University of Illinois, an MS in chemistry from Miami University, Oxford, and a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Illinois-Chicago Medical Campus.
Bradley brings more than 35 years of leadership to the boardroom, operations and face-to-face customer service of Fermenta USA. His industry knowledge runs deep and wide and is seasoned by experience in plant and warehouse management, transportation and logistics, and procurement – from both the customer and supply side. Fermenta USA clients benefit from Bradley’s unique market perspective which includes building customer and vendor relationships, marketing, contract negotiations, and upholding strict quality standards.
Bridget’s background includes financial management, business leadership and corporate strategy. As Fermenta USA’s Chief Financial Officer, she is responsible for all the company’s financial functions, including accounting, audit, treasury, corporate finance and insurance. Bridget manages compliance with the rules and regulations surrounding national and international business relations. With more than 35 years of diverse experience, she is exceptionally qualified to provide intelligent financial forecasting and keen analysis.
Prashant possesses about three decades of experience in the pharmaceuticals industry, with in-depth expertise encompassing the human and animal nutrition business, including production, research and development and key account management. Additionally, Prashant has acquired practical experience in regulatory compliance and new product development. He holds a Master’s in Management Sciences, a post graduate diploma in International Trade (IIFT, New Delhi) and a degree in Pharmacy. Known for his meticulous planning skills, Prashant heads corporate strategy as well as operations.
Satish joined the Fermenta Biotech Limited (FBL) group as the Executive Assistant to the then Managing Director and Founder in 1995. In this role, Satish garnered extensive operational, management and legal experience across the full scope of the enterprise. Highly enterprising and analytical, he has led the charge on various important projects.
Sumesh is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has a Master’s in Finance. He has over 25 years of experience in business funding, business planning & analysis, financial accounting, business restructuring, commercial operations and general management. At FBL, Sumesh is responsible for the financial functions within the organization, which include treasury management, accounting, budgeting and risk management. He is also a key member in the Business Strategy team
